![]() Keep them well supported and don't overextend, especially into an area that hasn't been sweeped for mines. Also make sure to keep your vehicles alive at all costs. It vastly increases its anti infantry capability, and it can shoot down planes. There's a risk/reward factor that goes into each strategy and you just have to mess around with it and find your playstyle and what works best for you.Įither one that you get, I highly recommend upgrading it with a machine gun up top. But waiting for callin tanks reduces the pressure that can be applied on your opponent, and if they rush for tanks there may be trouble. It actually winds up being cheaper to get stronger call in tanks than teching up to build tanks out of the buildings. ![]() Some games though, you wind up having enough resources and CP to get a tiger instead of a panther or panzer IV. If there is no enemy armor out on the field, getting a panther is usually a subpar choice, unless you know something big is coming very soon. The panther is great at taking out enemy armor and can confidently take on t34-76, shermans, or just about any vehicle thrown at it. ![]() If there is lots of enemy armor, especially larger vehicles a panther can do wonders. Or if you are behind and can't afford to tech up/wait for a tiger you can get a panzer IV to contest a sherman or counter t34-76 with some pak(s). Usually when you are ahead it is good to get an ostwind or a panzer IV to counter the enemies infantry while they have none to minimal armor on the field. The panzer IV main turret is very good against infantry, and can be effective against vehicles even though against an IS2 it will struggle unless given immense support. The panther has longer range, higher damage, and better health and armor but it costs alot more when you include the tech and is only okay at killing infantry. They can both do either effectively though. The panther is better at killing tanks, and the panzer IV is better at killing infantry.
